Who we are
The Land of Waterfalls Partnership for Health, Transylvania County’s local Healthy Carolinians task force is a community
collaborative dedicated to improving community health. We are a tax exempt independent 501(c)3 organization.
Funding for the Partnership comes from the State of North Carolina, The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, Blue Cross/Blue
Shield Foundation, Wachovia Foundation and the Duke Endowment.
What we do
The mission statement of the partnership is to assess community needs, develop recommendations and advocate for positive
change in order to improve the quality of life for all citizens of Transylvania County through the enhancement of physical,
emotional, spiritural and mental health.
