General Population Services

Although any public health service could be characterized as beneficial to the general population, this category of services is applicable to broad segments of the general public or undefined categories of the population (men, women and children).  An example of a general population service would be the annual vaccination campaign for influenza.  Other specific services in this category include, but are not limited to:

Environmental health services are provided by a wide array of federal, state and local entities.  Local environmental health services include:

• Onsite Wastewater Disposal (septic tank systems)
